This depicts the vintage sign above Ted Harris paints, a independent store run by the Harris family at 757 East Hastings for nine decades, before closing in 2009. The neon sign was offered it to the Vancouver Museum, but refused on account of its size! Fortunately for us, the current owners (an artist studio?) has retained it, together with the exterior decor.
