Jeff Wilson is a Scottish acrylic painter, living and working in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
He works across a range of dominantly Canadian subjects, combining a vivid colour palette and unusual compositions to produce instantly recognisable paintings.

Bridges of Gastown

This one depicts a view of the flyovers above Trounce Alley that connect two sides of a parkade in Gastown. At one particular viewpoint, they all arrange themselves evenly, and at one point on sunny days in the summer, are illuminated by the sun behind one of them. The resulting light effect is pretty unusual :)
