Jeff Wilson is a Scottish acrylic painter, living and working in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
He works across a range of dominantly Canadian subjects, combining a vivid colour palette and unusual compositions to produce instantly recognisable paintings.

I do like living in a relatively tolerant city, and there is probably no better symbol of that that the vintage-style neon sign installed in Davie Village in Vancouver. Designed by local artist Jim Balakshin, the sign was installed on Davie Street in 2017.
